The Virtual Solar-Terrestrial Observatory (VSTO) ontology was developed in the “context of Virtual Observatories, from fields spanning upper atmospheric terrestrial physics to solar physics, whose intent is to provide access to observational datasets.” The VSTO-I ontology is a subset of the VSTO ontology that includes instrument-related concepts used in HADatAc.
